What are cookies, why are they needed?
Cookies are needed, among other things, to make our shop work properly and more user-friendly for you. It works like this: your computer, smartphone, or tablet saves little files when you use our website. An advantage of this is that we can recognize you and make sure you don’t have to fill in your details over and over again.
Don’t want cookies?
You can always change your settings or delete cookies yourself. If you disable cookies, you will not be able to use certain features of our site and the website may not work as well as it could.
Giving or not giving permission
We do not need to ask your permission to place and read certain cookies. This applies to cookies that are necessary for communication via the Internet, cookies that are only used to provide our services, or analytical cookies that have little or no impact on your privacy. For other cookies, we ask your permission before placing and reading them. We do this via the cookie banner in our shop. It states that you accept cookies by clicking further in our shop. Don’t want this? Then you can choose to go to another website with similar content. For tagging specific content of our shop, we use Google Tag Manager. This helps us determine which cookies we are allowed to set and which content we are allowed to keep. Because, as we explained above, some cookies require us to ask your permission and some do not. When using Google Tag Manager, we adhere to the Authority Consumer & Market guidelines.
The cookies we use
Functional cookies
These cookies ensure that our shop works properly. Think of logging in, remembering information so you don’t have to fill everything in again, putting items in your shopping basket, and remembering your shopping basket.
Analytical cookies
With these cookies, we measure and analyze how you use our shop and what we can change to improve your experience. For example, we measure how many customers use our website and which parts are most interesting to our visitors. We also use third-party software for this, such as Google Analytics, which we have set up in a privacy-friendly way. Good to know: the statistics and reports cannot be traced back to individuals.
Social media cookies
Allows us to remember your preferences and interests. This is useful because it allows us to provide our website with information that is as relevant to you as possible. We try to tailor the website to you as much as possible. Moreover, based on your behavior, we can, for example, show you articles in advertisements that we think would suit you better, instead of articles that you probably do not like as much.
Interests and preferences cookies
These cookies are needed, among other things, to share the content of our shop via your social media, such as Facebook and Instagram.
